Wednesday night we headed to the Longview Gallery in Shaw for the annual ACCESS Youth gala! We snapped DC government staffer Darby Hickey with ACCESS Youth founder and executive director Jodi Ovca and Council member David Grosso.

ACCESS Youth provides disadvantaged young people with access to the skills, resources and support they need to stay in school and out of the criminal justice system. Here, ACCESS Youth board member Christine Hill with Hallmark Advisory Group's Sandy Hallmark and social worker Lauren Finney.

The annual event featured a lavish reception with a buffet of appetizers and an open bar. Here, Mann & Marshall's Colleen Wisel joins ACCESS Youth's Stephanie Bailey and Hill staffer Camilo Manjarres.

Guests enjoyed a live jazz performance as they perused the silent auction items, which included Caribbean vacations and dining experiences at DC's best restaurants. Here, realtor and host committee member David Dodero joins Cooley LLP's Anne Fleckenstein and Dhruv Sud with Chief Judge Lisa Baird of Prince William County's Juvenile Domestic Relations Court.
