A WINNter Affair!

Saturday night we also joined the Young Ambassadors Council (YAC) of the Children's Inn at NIH for its fifth annual WINNter Affair. We snapped Spotluck CEO Cherian Thomas flanked by the Inn's Special Events Coordinators Lauren Stabert and Julie Ofrecio.

YAC was founded in 2011 to increase opportunities for 20 to 40 year olds to promote the mission and awareness of the Children's Inn at NIH. Here, supporters Aaron Dick, Abby Pyper, Chad Frey, Dahlia Benzaquen, Kelly Alpert and Matt Hartenau.

The evening raised over $70k for the great cause. Here, Oracle's Kim Boeckmann (in red) is surrounded by PwC's Carly Gniewek, Alice Lu, Rachel Pahira and Chelsea Bridge.

A sold-out crowd of local yo-pros enjoyed an evening of cocktails, hors d'oeurvres, silent auction and dancing at the Reagan International Trade Center Pavilion. Here, Ernst & Young's Dallas Shields, EPAM System's Tony Fugolo and Sunrise Senior Living's Jenn Clark.

Guests voted on the best specialty concoctions from elite DC mixologists. Here, the ladies from Hank's Oyster Bar, serving up a tasty Tiki Delight: Melani Newman, Eve Maier and Carlie Pena.

Travis Holler & Merjan Bubernack contributed to this issue.
