This is a beautiful story of friendship. Last Wednesday, there was a huge fire in a building on M Street in Georgetown; all the businesses had to move out: Wink Boutique, Steve Madden, and stylist to the stars Ury & Associates. How was the salon to keep operating? The owner of another top salon around the corner on Prospect Street offered Ury space. By the next day, Ury was back in business. Bravo to Toka Salon owner Nury for his kindness in keeping all of Ury’s A-list clients happy. We snapped Nury and Ury at Toka Salon on Friday.
