We went to Nats Stadium to see the Nationals vs. Pirates game, hosted by the Women in Wishes Leadership Council to benefit Make-A-Wish.

After the game, Make-A-Wish supporters headed to Cantina Marina to celebrate the Nats’ victory and raise more money for the cause. Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic grants nearly one wish a day. On the field, Ellie Whitfield, a five-year-old from Annandale, was granted her wish to go to Disney World with her family. She’s with her parents Jennica and Dave and siblings Logan and Adeline.
