80 Sips!

We headed to the National Museum of Women in the Arts for the 4th annual Around the World in 80 Sips by Bottlenotes. Guests enjoyed wine tasting from a range of countries, including the US, Spain, Portugal, and New Zealand. We snapped Catholic Charities’ Maria Gonzales, Social Impact’s Shawna Walsh, and URI grad student Emily Walsh.

Our faves were from Moroccan Wines, Sequoia Grove Winery, Cannonball Wines, and Domaine Carneros, Here, DC Gov’s Raeniel Castillo, Crystal Gateway Marriott’s Ray Sirisakorn, Renaissance Mayflower’s Ron Kee (celebrating his 31st birthday), Devotion to Children’s Ana Orellana, and her husband, Marriott HQ’s Daniel Tellez.

Guests enjoyed cheeses and charcuterie paired with the wines and received souvenir glasses and a copy of the Rock and Vine book. A special tasting by Wine Sisterhood and pink boas were given to VIP guests. Here, Sibley Hospital’s Christine Gregorian, FAA’s Zainab Jawad, 77 Degrees West’s Vaani Malhotra, and DOS’s Monica Bedi.

Epicurious made a delicious assortment of macaroons, rocky road cupcakes, and s’mores on a stick. Here, UPMC’s Laura Nirschel and UHS’s Stephanie Hartman are bookended by FEMA’s Nicole Evanitsky and twin sister Jennifer.
