Doc Walker's NKF Golf Classic!

Friday we went to the 4th annual National Kidney Foundation Golf Classic hosted by Doc Walker’s ProView at The Golf Club at Lansdowne. Amateur golfers raised money to fight kidney disease and competed for an invitation to Pebble Beach for the NKF Golf Classic National Finals in January. Here, host and Super Bowl champ Doc Walker, former 'Skins player Brian Mitchell, 'Skins director of player development Malcolm Blacken, and ESPN 980's Scott Jackson.

More than 26 million Americans have chronic kidney disease; millions more are at risk. In Virginia, 10,000 are on dialysis and 2,800 await lifesaving transplants. Here, NKF Golf Classic honorary chair, former Rep. Tom Davis is flanked by Ameriprise Financial's Yasmine Bonilla and NKF Capital Area executive director Michele Anthony.
