Do you know Blake Morant? At Foley & Lardner's DC office this week, the GW Black Law Student Association welcomed him as the new GW Law School dean. We snapped Dean Morant, second from left, flanked by Foley DC managing partner Scott Fredericksen, Andrews Kurth partner and former US Attorney for DC Roscoe Howard (who's been the Dean's good friend since they met at UVA Law in '75), and Dean Morant's wife, Paulette Morant.

Dean Morant talked about George Washington's sense of community and instilling students with an understanding of the humanity of the law. He joins from Wake Forest Law School, where he was dean for seven years.
