On K Street with Dick Wiley

Yesterday, we ran into Wiley Rein chairman and former FCC chairman Dick Wiley heading out of the office to an industry lunch with former FCC commissioner Robert McDowell. Robert, who joined Wiley Rein's communications practice as a partner in September, is the group's fourth former FCC commissioner. The group of telecom experts (Dick's been known as the FCC's unofficial "sixth commissioner") recently launched a spectrum analysis report called SpectrumTrack. With the upcoming spectrum auction, and yesterday's decision from FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler to delay a vote on the auction rules, it's sure to be an area getting a lot of attention.
