We were delighted to host 700 at the National Museum of Women in the Arts this week as Bisnow celebrated the top 40 women in DC commercial real estate. (It turns out there are quite a few lawyers among them.)
We snapped honoree Janis Schiff--a Holland & Knight partner who's spent 30 years as a real estate attorney--with CREW past prez and DLA Piper real estate partner Betsy Karmin and Holland & Knight real estate partner Chad Tiedemann.
Another honoree, Goulston & Storrs principal Maureen Dwyer, with Holland & Knight DC managing partner Paul Kiernan. The two used to practice together before Maureen became the DC managing partner of Pillsbury. She also has the admirable distinction of being the very first woman land use and zoning lawyer.
Cushman & Wakefield's Sherry Cushman and Studley's Wendy Feldman Block are both Bisnow power women. (Real estate might run in the family for Wendy, whose dad is Odin Feldman real estate attorney David Feldman, right.) Star chefs Christianne Ricchi and Ris Lacoste were on hand whipping up gourmet dishes, and former White & Case attorney Yael Krigman catered the cake pops.
