Oprah's Approval

There's no better spur than a thumbs up from Oprah, when it comes to book sales (okay, probably any sales). Former corporate lawyer Lauren Francis-Sharma got the nod for her first novel 'Til the Well Runs Dry in the form of O Magazine calling it one of "10 Books to Pick Up Right Now." Her book party took place at Acadiana with folks from the DC legal industry, including international IP firm Finnegan, where her husband Anand Sharma (above with Lauren) is a partner.
