Nick Allard Moves to Dentons

Brooklyn Law School Dean and longtime Patton Boggs lobbying head Nick Allard has joined Dentons, the firm announced yesterday. He joins as senior counsel and will be based out of NY and DC. (We snapped Nick here in his office at Patton Boggs in a 2011 story.)

Nick will focus on legislative, regulatory and administrative legal matters in telco, IT, health, energy, environmental law and higher ed. (He's pictured with Rep. Jared Polis, from a Bisnow story about the Shakespeare Theatre Company's Will on the Hill, of which Nick is a past steering committee chair.) A Rhodes Scholar and Yale Law grad, Nick's spent time in private practice and public service, including as chief of staff to the late Sen. Moynihan and staff counsel to the Senate Committee on the Judiciary.
