Here's another person who could inspire a TV show. Civil rights advocate and US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit Judge Damon Keith has a new biography and spoke at an event in his honor this week at Venable. He's left at the podium with Congressman John Conyers. You can see on the podium a picture of the book written about him, Crusader for Justice: Federal Judge Damon J. Keith, by Peter Hammer and Trevor Coleman. Judge Keith's no stranger to being honored; one of his many is the NAACP's Springarn Medal, other recipients of which include Thurgood Marshall and Martin Luther King Jr.
