Jones Day Scoops Up 7 SCOTUS Clerks

Deja vu, anyone? Jones Day announced this week that it's adding seven Supreme Court clerks as associates. Last year, the firm hired six clerks from the 2012-2013 term, and six more from the '11-'12 term. Here are six of the new hires: Andrew Pinson (Justice Thomas), Michael Murray (Kennedy), Julia Fong Sheketoff (Breyer), Sparkle Sooknanan (Sotomayor), Aaron Tang (Sotomayor) and Ryan Walsh (Scalia). Not pictured is Caroline Edsall (Roberts).

It looks like Jones Day is the destination of choice for those who clerk on the Highest Court in the Land. This smiling crowd on the terrace of the firm's DC office at 51 Louisiana Ave makes up 18 of 19 SCOTUS clerks added over the last three years. The clerks are split between offices in DC, New York, Atlanta, Columbus, Houston and Chicago.
