Hausfeld Opens in Brussels

DC's Michael Hausfeld, who founded his own claimants litigation law firm in '09, is continuing its expansion. While Michael's DC office is on 1700 K St, last week he launched an office in Brussels, appointing Michelin Group Europe GC Laurent Geelhand, above, as the firm's Brussels managing partner. It's the firm's second international office (the first was London), with others in Philadelphia and San Francisco. The new Brussels office, with antitrust-expert Laurent at the helm, anticipates the approval of a new EU antitrust directive that should help companies claim damages for antitrust violations.
