Considering the Future of Law

Author Deborah Epstein Henry is back to thinking about the future of the legal profession. (Her 2011 book Law & Reorder was an ABA best seller.) Last week, she released her new book Finding Bliss: Innovative Legal Models for Happy Clients & Happy Lawyers. Deborah stopped by Hogan Lovells to discuss the changing legal industry. She's at center, flanked by Hogan Lovells regional managing partner Emily Yinger, former ALM SVP Aric Press, Marriott EVP and GC Edward Ryan, and Georgetown University Law Center Dean William Treanor.

There are seven themes in Finding Bliss that are important for efficiently serving clients in the modern legal world: innovation, value, predictability, talent development, flexibility, diversity and inclusion, and relationship building. Each attendee went home with an autographed copy.
