Brian Evans is the Chief Legal Officer and SVP of Long & Foster. The privately owned real estate company, founded in 1968, has grown from one office in Fairfax to 200 offices and 11,000 sales associates. Brian joined the company in 2010, after working with Weiner, Brodsky, Sidman, Kider PC on mortgage lending, for Wachovia Corp as SVP and Assistant GC and as the head attorney on mortgage lending and consumer lending projects, and as partner at Boyden, Cooluris, Hauser & Saxe.

Brian's long in-house career also includes work for First Nationwide Mortgage Corp, First Nationwide Bank, American Bankers Association and the National Automobile Dealers Association.
He started out in Utah at Brigham Young University before coming to DC to attend GW Law School.
