This is Sidecar, the members-only section of P.J. Clarke's. It affords DC's power-lunchers the exclusive, secluded setting one would expect at a private club, but with a more relaxed atmosphere. For instance, while the Sidecar menu does offer more upscale options (like steak and seafood) than the P.J. Clarke's menu, it still includes classic casual options like sliders and salads as well. The "Sidecar Ladies" above, who manage the club, often go the extra mile, like holding the Sidecar dining room open until 1am for any member who calls before 10pm to say they're on their way.
