DC's own chef Robert Wiedmaier has been tapped as the American chef who will be welcoming the newest US Ambassador to the UK, Matthew Barzun, at a special reception in London. While across the pond, Robert will also collaborate with Michelin-starred chef Simon Hulstone of The Elephant on a week-long, intimate, pop-up series at Simon's penthouse on Park Lane. If you're not up for crossing the pond for the experience, you can check out the seven-course preview dinner, complete with Virginia wine pairings, that Robert is holding at Marcel's next Friday.
