H Street NE just scored some elevated cuisine, thanks to Arthur and Jared Ringel. We snapped the pair this week, as the doors swung open to their locally focused, urban-farmhouse restaurant DC Harvest. "We aim to be unpretentious," Arthur tells us. "We're polished but relaxed. You won't find any tablecloths or an arsenal of wine glasses. But that's not to say you won't see K Street, or high-end hotel technique, on more approachable food." Almost everything on the menu, including alcohol, is local, and when it's not local, it's domestic. Look for house made pasta, fresh seafood and a kid's menu that serves whole food, not hamburgers.
