Celebrity Sighting: Richard Simmons Dines with Surgeon General Regina Benjamin

We spotted Surgeon General Regina Benjamin and celebrity fitness guru Richard Simmons grabbing a late lunch together Wednesdayat Founding Farmers after their TedMed talk nearby at the Kennedy Center. Richard was hard to miss as he (literally) boogied by our table in a neon red jogging suit, kissing hands and posing for photos as he went. The two teamed up to give a talk on healthy lifestyle choices, including nutrition and fitness. At Richard's request for suggestions, our intrepid dining reporter recommended the sliders; a plateful was delivered to their table shortly thereafter, along with a basket of fried green tomatoes.
