ThreatConnect's New Name and Funding

ThreatConnect (formerly Cyber Squared) announced today it raised $4M--its first round of funding since launching in 2011. Led by Grotech Ventures and strategic partners, the round will go towards the cybersecurity company’s product development and to expand sales and marketing. The Arlington firm also renamed itself, taking the name of its product. The intelligence platform manages massive amounts of threat information that comes in daily, and helps companies aggregate, analyze and act on their data. Over 550 companies, including over 40 Fortune 100s, use the platform. The company has seen 450% revenue growth in 2014 and expects to more than double revenue next year. (Is that a threat?)
