Tech People Are Everywhere!

A recent CompTIA IT workforce study shows which states are attracting the nation's 4.2 million core IT workers. Software developers dominate, with NY being home to the most, followed by Seattle and DC. The strengthening economy and demand for mobility, cloud computing and big data have spurred the largest IT job gains of the past 15 years, adding over 440,000 new IT jobs between 2011 and 2014. Washington state and DC each saw the biggest change at 32% growth, followed by Utah, Texas and North Carolina.
