Social Tables' Good Week

DC-based Social Tables has some more cash to grow its hospitality software. It raised $8M in Series A funding in a round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. The 40-person company has raised a total of $9.6M and wooed over 2,000 clients, like Goldman Sachs, Hyatt, and Four Seasons. The funding announced at Carnegie Library on Wednesday brought out The Convention Industry Council’s Karen Kotowski, BizBash’s David Adler, Social Tables founder Dan Berger, Events DC’s Greg O’Dell, and Mayor Vincent Gray.
