Zvi says despite the general thought that local capital is hard to raise, Contactually managed to woo Vienna-based Grotech Ventures, which recently raised a large new fund. General partner Don Rainey is also now on Contactually’s board.

CEO Ron Gula says the investment, which brings the company’s total funding to $300M, marks one of the largest fundraising rounds for a private security company. The company’s continuous network monitoring product has over 1 million users and nearly 20,000 customers worldwide, including Deloitte, Visa and BMW.
