LLS Winter Cocktail!

Last night we also went to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Annual Winter Cocktail at Pepco Edison Place Gallery; Pepco is a major LLS donor. We snapped LLS team members PwC’s Saadiq Luqman, Grant Thornton’s Meg Nelbach and GSA’s Mike Effron, with author Benjamin Rubinstein.

Current and prospective LLS Man & Woman of the Year candidates met the Boy & Girl of the Year, inspirational blood cancer survivors, and heard from past winners. Here, LLS 2015 candidates Epic Consulting’s Theo Bell and Transwestern’s Scott Randolph with Amanda Holmes.

The Man & Woman of the Year campaign is a unique 10-week fundraising event for LLS’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s and myeloma. LLS has recruited 19 candidates this year, who will start April 2. Here, LLS co-chairs World Wide Technology's Kevin Pearson (2011 Man of the Year candidate) and DTZ's Amanda Tiede (2012 Woman of the Year).
