Distil Networks Expands Its Square Footage

Distil Networks is expanding its DC area footprint. The web application security firm is growing by over 11k SF at 4501 N Fairfax Dr, in Arlington. The company, which has 28 people at its corporate HQ and 102 company-wide, plans to double its HQ staff and add 80 across the firm in 2016. The new 15k SF space will accommodate over 100 people. 

The company, which has raised $44M in venture funding since its launch in 2011, recently announced its purchase of ScrapeSentry, a competitor that also detects bots. Hackers use them to get through the external walls of a company’s network.

West, Lane & Schlager Realty helped with the lease.
