DC Tech's Latest IPO

Alarm.com raised $91M in its Nasdaq debut Friday. The Vienna company, founded by MicroStrategy in 2000, lets users control their home and office security systems, lights and temperature using their smartphones and tablets. CEO Stephen Trundle told the Washington Post the money puts some real ballast in the business and provides ammunition to pursue the right acquisition opportunity. [WaPo]
