Big congrats to Always Prepped founder Fahad Hassan (right), here with investor and board member Hooman Radfar. His K-12 data integration company was acquired by Alma, an ed-tech company in Portland. Alma's cloud-based software integrates multiple school and district functions like lesson plans, report cards and state reporting into a single system. Alma launched its current platform a year ago and it’s being used by schools in 37 states and 24 countries. Fahad, who was on Bisnow's 30 Under 40 back in the days when we had to narrow the list to 30, has joined Alma’s growing DC office as chief biz dev officer.
