DC Tech Reacts to NYT's Amazon Story

ICYMI…The New York Times published a story earlier this week on what it’s like to work at Amazon. The “bruising workplace” includes everything from employees encouraged to shoot down each other’s ideas to pregnant women or employees with cancer being unfairly evaluated. The story inspired debates around every water cooler. (The Onion even got into it.) DC Tech took to its Facebook page to debate the story, with a former employee saying he never saw the environment painted in the story to some shrugging it off as an accurate picture of "startup life." Others were outraged. What do you think? Send comments to Bisnow’s Tania Anderson. [NYT]
