Developer: Four Points Development
Four Points Development, along with Curtis Investment Group, is changing the face of Anacostia by uniting eight separate blocks along Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE.
Marshall Moya Design is the architecture firm tasked with reimagining the buildings that make up 2001-2027 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave SE, to create room for the new project. While some of the existing parcels will remain, some will be demolished and rebuilt.
When complete, the new development will be known as Reunion Square. It will house about 1.1M SF of commercial and retail space.

Developer: A-R Development
A-R Development is poised to bring nearly 60k SF of retail and almost 90k SF of office space to this 25.4 acre-stretch of undeveloped land.
A-R's plans also include nearly 1,900 new mixed-income residential units. Barry Farm was founded in the late 1800s as a new home for freed slaves.
The developer expects the project to cost roughly $400M and open up the Anacostia Metro station to the transit-oriented developments that have swept the region over the last decade.

This summer, an RFP was issued by the DC government seeking developers for the vacant lot at 1909 Martin Luther King Ave SE and the stretch between 1201 and 1215 Good Hope Road SE.
The site on Good Hope Road spans more than 13k SF and the Martin Luther King Avenue site spans 5,400 SF. Only developers who wish to develop on both sites will receive consideration.
