With the help of a $9M loan from EagleBank, NY-based Capital Properties has scored, acquiring the 154-acre Harbourtowne Conference Center and Golf Resort in St. Michaels, MD, a luxury property with 111 guest rooms, 18-hole Pete Dye golf course, swimming, tennis and watersports. The property will be operated by Capital Properties Management Co, which also operates the well-known Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod. Capital Properties also owns the Inn at Perry Cabin, St. Michaels, MD (of “Wedding Crashers” fame), for which EagleBank was acquisition lender. Capital Properties also has residential properties in Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Falls Church, Alexandria and DC.
