Silver Sells in Quantico

Silver Companies has sold its third property at Quantico Corporate Center in Stafford. VP David Newman tells us 800 Quantico Corporate Dr sold for $40M to NYC-based JMC Holdings, making its first Virginia purchase. The building is fully leased, including a shared research space betweenGeorge Mason, Mary Washington, UMdUniversity College, and Germanna Community College. (That explains the empty parking lot; college kids prefer to skateboard to their research.)David adds that the building park is still less than 50% built out, and further growth could spur from the nearby FBI complex as well as Marine contractors. The other two properties already sold in the park traded to WRIT in 2010.
