The American Psychiatric Association was the first office tenant to sign a lease at 800 Maine and will occupy 63k SF for the next decade.

The Association's 250 employees brought both a sizable tenant and legitimacy to the redeveloping area.

The future Southwest Waterfront tenant had called Rosslyn home for more than a decade, but will now return to the city limits.

MakeOffices

800 Maine is not done bringing notable clients to the reimagined Southwest Waterfront.

Hoffman-Madison Waterfront has added another key tenant to its $2B project on the Washington Channel.

The DC-based co-working company MakeOffices has signed a 45k SF lease at the 11-floor, 220k SF 800 Maine. MakeOffices will claim the second and third floors of the property, which will be ready for move in around Q3 2017.

Van Scoyoc Associates

MakeOffices and the American Psychiatric Association will not be alone at 800 Maine.

Van Scoyoc will be leaving its current home near the Capitol Building and heading toward the water. The fifth-largest lobbying firm in the country with a client base that includes the likes of Lockheed-Martin and DRS Technologies, Van Scoyoc will be claiming an entire floor at 800 Maine.

If you're keeping score, that's three leases signed at the Class-A 220k SF 800 Maine for a total of 131k SF, all within the last year. Hoffman-Madison Waterfront has yet to sign a tenant at 1000 Maine Ave, the trophy class office building delivering along with 800 Maine in Phase 1.
