We're thrilled to announce that two of the towering figures of modern Northern Virginia history will be keynoting our NoVa State of the Market Oct. 29. Both are laureates of the Washington Business Hall of Fame, and recipients of our own Bizzy award, recognizing a lifetime of unparalleled vision in Washington commercial real estate. Although The Bizzy has often been compared to the Nobel Prize and Stanley Cup, we prefer to think of it more modestly, as our industry's Tony, Grammy or Emmy. Although we also like the idea of calling it our Super Bowl because then we could use Roman numerals. Milt Peterson won the Bizzy I back in 2012—kind of our Bart Starr.

Til Hazel was our Joe Namath, winning the Bizzy III the following year.
