Barnhart Crane and Rigging Co just purchased a Tempe warehouse that will be part of a regional nuclear response network, we learned from Commercial Properties' Andy Jaffe, who helped broker the sale of 8100 W Buckheye Rd in Tolleson for Barnhart. The 72,500 SF warehouse will be used to get necessary equipment within 24 hours to any nuclear site in America (is Amazon Prime running it?), a system put in place as a result of the Fukushima accident in 2011, Jaffe says. The sale was nearly $4M.
