Catching Rays at 1425 K

Yesterday, we dropped by Blake Real Estate's 1425 K Street for a broker lunch on the building's rooftop. Snapped: the father-son power duo of NAI KLNB's Josh Simon and Blake's Neil Simon, who's marketing the 53k SF available with colleagues Steve Solomon and Owen Billman. Neil says the deck was DC's first green roof when it was unveiled in 2002 and that 1425 K's asking rents are in the mid-$50/SF range.

We also caught up with Blake's Steve Solomon, giving a tour of the property's 4th floor (soon to be occupied by CFP Board) to new Newmark EVP Brendan Owen, who started on Monday.
