MetCap Brings On New President Of Capital Markets

Metcap's New President Of Capital Markets Eric Ross

Metropolis Capital Advisors, a Bethesda-based commercial real estate capital markets advisory firm, has brought on a new president of capital markets.

Eric Ross joins MetCap from Artery Capital Group, a family office that invests in real estate, where he spent the last five years as president.

Previously, Ross worked at Arthur Andersen as managing director in its corporate finance group, where he helped real estate firms such as TA Realty Associates, ING Real Estate and Taconic Investment Partners access equity capital and execute mergers and acquisitions.

MetCap spun off from The Goldstar Group in January 2016 when its founder and CEO, Cliff Mendelson, teamed up with Joe Friedman, who left Transwestern, to launch the new firm. It has worked on financing and investment sales deals for properties such as the Gude Commerce Center in Rockville and the Hampton Inn in Culpeper, Virginia.
