CTIA-The Wireless Association has been on a promotion kick. But not the kind with free stuff. We're talking corporate ladder. The DC-based association announced today that Athena Polydorou is now the head of The Wireless Foundation, after working as director of the wireless Internet development department; Jackie McCarthy is now the wireless Internet development director after working as the state regulatory affairs director; and Matthew Gerst was promoted from counsel to director of the external and state affairs department.
