Snowball Fight!

The Washington DC Snowball Fight Association has had a busy winter organizing three massive fights and one snow sculpture contest since the beginning of the year. Around 150 people showed up at Meridian Hill Park yesterday after hearing about the event through the group’s Facebook page. (We borrowed this photo because we were too afraid to show up.) The group was launched in 2009 when six friends organized the first “Official Dupont Circle Snowball Fight.” One was held on the National Mall this year. The group has over 4,200 “likes” on Facebook, and non-snow months are spent dreaming of snow. (Now we know who to blame for this year's white winter.)
