The aerospace industry’s loudest advocate the last eight years is moving on. Aerospace Industries Association president Marion Blakey was named president of Rolls-Royce North America and chair of its board. The Reston-based company said Marion, who also served as FAA administrator for five years and NTSB chair, brings deep industry perspective that will be valuable for its Aerospace and Land & Sea divisions. The company’s revenue hit $23.4B in 2014 and has over 54,000 employees in over 50 countries. All sounds great, but more importantly, what color car will she get?
