The Academy Awards of the DC business community were held last week at the National Building Museum. The annual black-tie Washington Business Hall of Fame event raises money for Junior Achievement of Greater Washington—this year’s event raised a record $1.3M.
Five laureates were inducted into the Hall of Fame: Honest Tea co-founder Seth Goldman (second from left); Planning Research Corp executive (retired) John Toups; SunTrust Bank (retired) chairman and CEO Scott Wilfong; Salamander Hotels & Resorts CEO and Monumental Sports & Entertainment vice chairman Sheila Johnson; and Pepco chairman, president and CEO Joe Rigby.
