The National Federation of Independent Business has hired veteran trade association exec and former White House aide Juanita Duggan as its new president and CEO. Juanita was the American Apparel & Footwear Association CEO; she replaces retiring NFIB leader Dan Danner. Juanita has also headed the American Forest and Paper Association and the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America. She was also a White House aide for Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush. Juanita told the Washington Business Journal getting a chance to head NFIB represents the pinnacle in a lobbyist’s career. [WBJ]
