Last week,The Scene Bisnow went to the Capitol Hilton for the 32ndannual Bryce Harlow Foundation Awards Dinner, saluting the best policy players--both advocates and those in government.Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) was honored, introduced by his good friend from across the aisle, Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kan), with whom he's worked on fiscal restraint and Start Up Act 3.0to increase immigration by foreign entrepreneurs. Sen. Warner joked that--having gotten his start at Nextel--he's the only dinner speaker who ever urges guests to keep their cell phones on.
