So how does a commercial real estate association educate its members? A bus tour of one of the hottest markets in the country. We got to tag along on the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties bus tour of Northern Virginia last week. A caravan of 10 large buses showed 460 commercial real estate players 76 miles of the hottest markets outside of DC, including Alexandria, Arlington, and Springfield. It's become one of NAIOP Northern Virginia chapter's most anticipated events of the year. As you can see, the rowdy kids still sit in the back.
