The US Chamber of Commerce Foundation announced over 20 companies as finalists for its 2015 Corporate Citizenship Awards. The awards, given in eight categories, recognize for-profit businesses and chambers of commerce for positive social and community initiatives. Winners will be announced at the foundation’s gala on Oct. 6 in DC. Some of the finalists include IBM and Intel for “best corporate steward - large business”; Accenture and GE foundation for “best commitment to education”; and Goldman Sachs and Kate Spade & Co for “best economic empowerment” program.
