Childhood memory: DC’s transformation is amazing, yet it’s still possible to enjoy the same trails and parks I enjoyed growing up. In most situations, the parks have improved with features my sons are now enjoying.
Current home: American University Park
Family: Married 15 years; two sons (ages 2 and 6).
Free time: Parks, sports and fossil hunting on the Bay with family. And of course many birthdays. 
Something most people don’t know about you: Received a Preservation Award in 2002 for the ongoing preservation of the 1897 house we’ve lived in for 15 years. The Queen Anne style house, designed by H. Galloway Ten Eyck, and built for Tenleytown resident Hilleary T. Burrows, is one of the original structures in American University Park.
