Association Attendees Get Funk'd

The Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America wanted a creative way to let its annual convention attendees know all the features of its large event, held this month in Orlando. So why not a video featuring president/CEO Craig Wolf dancing and lip syncing, along with staff and exhibitors, to Bruno Mars’ popular hit “Uptown Funk”? A professional choreographer, dancers and a production company were hired, and filming took an entire day. (We have to say, Craig’s lip syncing and dancing are pretty good.) The video was the brainchild of WSWA’s meetings guru Cindy Nachman-Senders, who made a James Bond-themed video last year. This year, she was inspired by a Texas teacher who made a similar video with students. We assume the song’s line “Fill my cup, put some liquor in it” might have helped too.
