All six of TD Centre’s towers achieved LEED Platinum certification in 2015, making Cadillac Fairview's 4.5M SF office complex one of the largest properties in North America to secure the highest LEED ranking for existing buildings. The $200M spent on greening and revitalization led to a 16.8% drop in energy use over the past four years, and a 16.7% decrease in water consumption, according to a sustainability report for TD Centre. The complex also diverted 19 million kg of waste from landfills (5 million kg in 2015 alone, saving $300k in waste removal fees).
