Newmark Knight Frank’s Clay Vaughn (Go Rangers!) and Cushman & Wakefield’s Robbie Baty were among the brokers at a cookout last week hosted by Parmenter Realty Partners and Cousins Properties on the Park Central 7*8*9 Plaza. Cousins VP Cynthia Cowen tells us the event was to inform brokers specializing in the LBJ/Central submarket about the building's availability and its new aggressive rental rates—dropping quoted rental rates on certain spaces by as much as 15%. Cynthia says the building has a 100k SF block of contiguous space available with top-of-the-building signage facing the LBJ Freeway/High Five. She pulled out the bragging rights, too: The complex won TOBY's 2010 International Building of the Year Award in the renovated category.
