The Yacht Club at Brickell is slated for a major update from its owner. Denver-based Aimco—one of the country's largest multifamily owners—has listed the 357-unit apartment tower off Brickell Bay Drive among the nine properties slated for redevelopment in the coming year in a presentation released in SEC documents. Details and amounts of that planned project were not released in the documents, and a spokesperson for Aimco says plans are preliminary and could be a year before they're released. That said, last year Aimco's Patti Fielding told stock analysts that renovations of the property could include new amenities, apartment finishes and a new restaurant.
